RJ45 Pass-Through Crimping Tool

A pass-through crimping tool for RJ45 and 6P plugs. Conductors are threaded straight through the front of the connector and trimmed flush as the handles close, so you can verify wire order before you commit the crimp.

Blue-handled RJ45 pass-through crimping tool shown from the die side, with 6P and 8P open-ended crimp slots and a yellow conductor-trimming blade1 / 4 images

  • Pass-through termination

Conductors thread through the plug face

  • T568A / T568B

Pin-order reference printed on the body

Overview

Terminating a cable blind is where most bad patch leads come from: you push eight conductors into an opaque plug, hope the order held, crimp, and find out with a tester. Pass-through plugs remove the guesswork — the conductors run all the way through the front of the connector, so you can see every wire in position before the tool closes.

This crimper is built for that workflow. It seats the plug, crimps the contacts, and an integrated trimming blade cuts the protruding conductors flush with the connector face in the same squeeze. The die block takes 8P (RJ45) and 6P plugs, and a T568A / T568B wiring chart is printed on the tool body, which is genuinely useful at the top of a ladder.

Good for

  • Making custom-length Ethernet patch leads on site
  • Terminating runs during a network install
  • Re-ending a damaged cable instead of replacing it
  • Keeping in a network toolkit or a bench drawer
